Characteristics of different pedestrian access gates
The channel gate is a channel management device, which is mainly used in subway gate systems, scenic area toll gates, enterprise factories, communities, schools, etc. It is commonly used in various entrances such as toll and access control occasions. Its most basic and core function is to achieve only one person passing through at a time, which can realize crowd management and regulate pedestrian access, and enhance the physical protection capability of the security area.
There are many varieties of channel gates, which can be divided into: wing gates, swing gates, three-roller gates, revolving gates, translation gates, speed gates, and one-line gates;
Characteristics of different pedestrian channel gates: Wing gates (retractable speed gates), which are characterized by fast and smooth operation. Mainly used in places with high requirements for traffic speed.
Swing gates, which are pedestrian channel control equipment with high security protection levels. The swing length can be customized according to the on-site conditions. It is mainly used in places where people and vehicles pass through.
Three-roller gates, which are limited-level access control equipment specially designed to handle access control and personnel flow. Features are low price, simple maintenance and powerful anti-tailing function.
The turnstile is a two-way agile channel control device designed for places with high-level security requirements, which can be used for channel management without supervision.
The sliding gate is a restricted-level channel control device designed for places with wide channels, mainly used in indoor places.
The speed gate: fast passage, high-end appearance, good safety performance, mainly used in high-end places, such as high-end office buildings, airports, government agencies, high-end enterprises, high-end communities and other places.
The basic functional features that the channel gate should have
1. Anti-tailing function: There are infrared light band detection areas in the channel. The switch state can be adjusted by software according to the customer's accuracy requirements. The application of light bands to meet different needs avoids the disadvantages of point infrared being easily contaminated and affecting the reliability of judgment, and can effectively judge the tailing of unread cards. When the system determines that tailing occurs, the system will respond according to the position of the valid cardholder returned by the infrared detector. After the door opening signal is issued, there are still some abnormal uses that will trigger the alarm system. 2. Abnormal use: (1) When the gate is closed, a pedestrian who breaks in from the opposite direction enters the passage after the authorized door opening signal is issued. Before passing through the first safety photoelectric detection zone, if the reverse infrared detection detects someone entering, the buzzer will automatically alarm and the gate will remain closed. (2) When the pedestrian leaves, the pedestrian who breaks in from the opposite direction passes through the second infrared sensing zone. Without a valid door opening signal, the second safety infrared sensing zone detects someone entering again. The alarm system will sound an alarm and the gate will not close. (3) The time interval between the first detector detecting the pedestrian and the last detector after he leaves the first safety infrared sensing zone is about 0.25 seconds. After the pedestrian leaves the first safety infrared sensing zone, without the card reader signal to open the door, the first infrared sensing zone detects a pedestrian (the follower) again, and the alarm will sound. (4) After the trailing pedestrian enters the infrared sensing zone, the first detector detects an unauthorized person entering, the gate will be immediately closed, and the alarm will sound.
