A wing gate is an intelligent access control system that coordinates various reading and writing devices, a real-time alarm system, safety protection devices, LED counting displays, and direction indicator interfaces to control and manage the entire process from card swiping to identification, gate opening, and gate closing. Routine troubleshooting of wing gates can be completed through the following four steps.
- Check if the limit switch is exposed to strong light (this usually refers to outdoor installation and debugging):
Specific testing method: When checking for faults in the wing gate, if necessary, open the chassis or mechanism cover. It is best to cover the limit switch with a dark-colored, opaque object before debugging to avoid strong light affecting the limit switch!
- Check if the connection between the limit switch and the main board is reliable;
- If the limit switch and wiring are normal, then the main board is likely damaged.
- Method for testing the limit photoelectric switches of the wing gate:
(1) Check if the limit photoelectric switch for the zero position, left open position, and right open position is powered. Check if the 4-pin wire is loose or has poor contact.
(2) Enter the debugging menu P00. Rotate the brake shaft to drive the light-blocking plate to sequentially disconnect the optical couplers of the limit photoelectric switches for the left open position, zero position, and right open position. When the optical couplers are disconnected, the indicator light should be on and the output voltage should be +12V. Otherwise, the limit photoelectric switch is damaged.
While the wing gate, as an electronic product, may experience some faults during use, from the perspective of the wing gate itself, the main causes are generally concentrated in the configuration and system of the wing gate. The overall maintenance principle of the wing gate mainly focuses on the following four points: 1: Real-time alarm system; 2: Safety protection device; 3: Intelligent control and management system; 4: LED counting display, etc. Generally speaking, after eliminating these four faults, the wing gate can operate normally.
