Abstract: To strengthen security management in residential areas and effectively prevent theft of non-motorized vehicles, communities typically use access control gates for management personnel. Swing gates are currently the most widely used product in residential communities. How can we effectively utilize swing gate access control in residential areas? Below, Innovation Connect will discuss the general requirements for residential access control management and park entrance/exit management.
To strengthen security management in the community and effectively prevent theft of non-motorized vehicles, communities typically use gate systems for access control. Swing gates are currently the most widely used product in residential communities. How should swing gates be used effectively in residential communities? Below, Innovation Connect will discuss the general requirements for community access control.

Specific matters regarding community entrance and exit management are as follows:
I. All non-motorized vehicles entering and exiting the community must use swing gates.
- For non-motorized vehicles belonging to community tenants, tenants must swipe their access cards to enter and exit through the swing gate.
- For non-motorized vehicles belonging to family members of community tenants (excluding those receiving social security benefits), the user must present an access pass, which will be verified by the gatekeeper before the swing gate is opened. (Access passes: issued by the property service center with real-name registration; a photo of the user is required, and a processing fee may be charged.)
- For non-motorized vehicles belonging to community visitors, the user must register at the gate, and after verification, obtain a temporary access pass. The gatekeeper will then open the swing gate with the pass.
II. Courier company vehicles (including electric tricycles) delivering packages into and out of the park must register at the property service center and obtain an access pass upon presentation of a company introduction letter and the courier’s ID card. Access passes must be used for entry and exit through the vehicle lanes.
III. Pedestrian access is not required. Pedestrian passages are reserved at each entrance and exit; pedestrians may choose their own mode of entry and exit.
The above management measures are for trial implementation and will be further revised and improved based on actual operation and feedback. The park’s gate facilities are public property; please cherish and use them correctly. Any intentional damage will be subject to compensation at cost; serious cases will be reported to the police.
The above content is essentially a management method for gate access in the community and has been widely applied in many gate locations.
