Wouldn’t you be anxious? Or perhaps you’re arm in arm with your loved one, walking in sync, only to be separated by the turnstile when trying to swipe your card?

Wouldn’t you be frustrated?

You’re in a hurry to meet someone, but the person first in line at the exit turnstile stubbornly keeps swiping their card, seemingly in a battle with the machine. Wouldn’t you be annoyed?

You use turnstiles every day, but do you really understand this stubborn machine? Let’s look at an example image to get to know it better.

Subway turnstile solutions, 15 years of professional subway turnstile solutions, standard subway turnstile equipment.

As you can see from the image above, whether entering or exiting, swiping your card across the yellow line area will not open the turnstile. This is because if a passenger enters the area within the yellow line without swiping their card, the system will interpret this as “entry without a ticket.” Not only will the gate not open, but an alarm will sound, prompting the passenger to exit the turnstile and swipe their card again. Therefore, please be sure to swipe your card outside the yellow line area; luggage is not allowed to enter.

Also, please remember to swipe your card on the right and proceed on the left. If you swipe your card in the wrong line, the turnstile gate next to you will close after a short time.

Passengers with children should also be careful. Please hold your child in front of you and do not let them follow closely behind you to avoid accidents.

Furthermore, when exiting the station, passengers with a Chang’an Tong card should swipe their card directly; passengers with a single-journey ticket should insert it into the turnstile. If the turnstile is not open, please pay attention to the prompts on the screen. If it displays “Insufficient balance,” please top up; if it displays “Contact staff,” please go to the ticket center for assistance immediately.

A special reminder: the stubborn turnstiles require your undivided attention. When swiping your card to enter or exit, do not stack your subway ticket with other smart cards, as this will cause interference and may prevent normal passage. Therefore, it’s best to remove your ticket separately before entering or exiting the turnstiles.

Finally, a reminder: while the turnstiles may be stubborn, they are reasonable, so please don’t argue with them.

Even they can get hurt…

Regardless of the location where turnstiles are used, it’s essential to understand their working principles before selecting and installing them. Let’s first look at the principle of subway turnstiles:

Subway turnstiles generally use wing gates because subway stations are densely populated areas with relatively high passenger flow, and wing gates offer faster throughput. Take the wing gate from Chuangxintong as an example. Chuangxintong’s subway wing gates utilize brushless motor technology for a longer lifespan; employ ARM control technology for more powerful functions and better expandability; are faster, with opening and closing speeds of ≤5 seconds; are quieter, with noise levels of ≤20 decibels; and operate more smoothly, without shaking, jitter, or echo. Wing gates are also easier for subway staff to manage.

Subway Turnstile Working Principle:

1) Turn on the power; the system enters working mode after 3 seconds.

2) When the card reader detects a valid card, the beeper will emit a pleasant sound to indicate successful card reading to the pedestrian. Simultaneously, it will process the information read from the card and send a passage request signal to the main control board.

3) The main control board receives signals from the card reader and infrared sensor, processes them, and sends valid control signals to the direction indicator and motor. This causes the direction indicator to turn into a green arrow passage sign. If the system is in normally closed mode, the motor will run, the limit switch will control the motor’s rotation angle, and the gate will open (in normally open mode, the motor will not operate), allowing pedestrian passage.

4) After the pedestrian passes through the passage according to the direction indicator, the swing gate’s infrared sensor detects the entire process of the pedestrian passing through the passage and continuously sends signals to the main control board until the pedestrian has completely passed through the passage.

5) If a pedestrian forgets to swipe their card or swipes an invalid card to enter the passage, the system will prevent the pedestrian from passing (in normally open mode, the gate will close; in normally closed mode, the gate will not move), and an alarm will be sounded until the pedestrian leaves the passage; only after swiping a valid card will passage be permitted.

Metro turnstiles, metro wing gates, metro swing gates, metro tripod turnstiles, metro single-lane turnstiles, metro speed gates

[128

post-1675","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-success-stories
["GET
